*210 MW SIMULATOR

NPTI Nagpur has well tuned, full-scope, hi-tech real time 210 MW fossil fuel fired simulator, a replica of 210 MW Unit-1 of Khaperkheda Thermal Power Station (MSEB). The process model of the simulator is based on BHEL-CE Tangentially corner fired boiler design and KWU turbine system. It facilitates training both in the conventional mode of control room operation and also on CRT key board based unit operation.
